Mazabuka Municipal Council was thrilled to unveil the successful Loan Applicants for the 2022 CDF allocation under Mazabuka Central Constituency. The amount handed over was K 2,939.644.00 as empowerment loans to 23 applicants. The ceremony took place on 13th April 2023 at the Civic Center and this marked a significant milestone in our efforts to empower community members through financial support.
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the CDFC and the ZANACO Bank to facilitate the distribution of loans to deserving individuals and groups within the constituency. The loans provided by the CDF have enabled many of our community members to establish and expand their businesses, thereby creating employment opportunities and contributing to the economic growth of the constituency.
The Handover Ceremony was graced by The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Hon. Gary Nkombo MP and in attendence were Heads of goverenment departments,the community and other stakeholders.
Government believe that financial support is a vital tool in improving the lives of our constituents, and we look forward to working with the CDF and other partners to finance more community-based projects that will continue to improve the lives of the people we serve.
